8 Days Marrakech Desert Imperial citys

1st day : Marrakech – Ouarzazate

Dparture from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, we drive over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). On the side of the mountains you will see Berber farms and traditional villages then we leave the main road and take a side road to the Telouet Kasbah, which belonged to the Lords of the Atlas, the Glaoui family, and which now stands in ruins after the last Pasha fled the country following the departure of the French. From there we head to Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.Then before arrive to Ouarzazate named “Hollywood of Morocco” we will stop to see one of the Cinema Studios then check the hotel.

2nd day : Ouarzazate – Merzouga

After breakfast we drive to Merzouga Through the Road of Thousand-Kasbah passing Skoura palm grove and the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna,Dades Valley heading to Todra Gorges its an ideal place for walking and exploring in your own.lunch in the restaurant then Continuation towards Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marbles where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. we head down to Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which signify the commencement of the mighty Sahara Desert,the rest of the day will be dedicated to appreciate the evening change over the dunes. Night in Desert Hotel.

3th day : Merzouga Erg chebbi

Afert breakfast heading to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, continue through an off-road to have a tour of sand dunes then stop to have a tea with nomads in berber tents you will discover a new sence of life.from there back to the hotel to relax before start your camel trip into the middle of the dunes in order to see the sunset then after you will arrive to the bivauc and spend the night under nomadic tent.

4th day : Merzouga – Fes

In the morning after breakfast departe to Fes Via Er Rachidia through the Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis. All along the road there are innumerable “ksars”, small villages of individual houses.At the foot of the Ayachi Mountain. We continue over the Tizi-n-Talremt pass untill we arrive to Midelt, “the apple capital” have lunch then heading to The cedar forests it where that we will stop for a while to enjoy seeing monkeys climbing the trees.then Ifran Moroccan Swiss style of town.Arrive to Fes and check the hotel.

5th day : Fes – Fes Medina

After breakfast you will start exploring the imperial city of Fes in Morocco ,founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II .You will visit the Medina, Médersas Attarine, Fontaine Ennajarine, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Karawiyin Mosque and the new medina in Fez Jdid .In the evening back to the hotel.

6th day : Fes – Volibules – Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast departe to Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins, which are spread over a wide area and afford beautiful views over the valley and hills.Then continue via Meknes and stop in the Imperial city of Rabat, the administrative capital of the Kingdom.Visit the magnificent Mausoleum Mohamed V and the Hassan II. After heading to Casablanca and check the hotel.

7th day : Casablanca – Marrakech

Before we leave casablanca you will visit The Hassan IIMosque is the second largest religious building in the world after the mosque in Mecca after visit The Corniche near the sea and Heading to Marrakech check the hotel.

8th day : Marrakech – Marrakech

You will explore the beautiful city of Marrakech, the Square, the Medina, the Menara Garden, the Koutoubia Mosque, Majorel Garden. In the evening you will transported to the hotel or the airport.
