4 days Marrakech Merzouga Desert Marrakech

First day : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

Departure from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, we drive over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). On the side of the mountains you will see Berber farms and traditional villages untill we arrive to Ouarzazate named “Hollywood of Morocco” stop for lunch then visit Taourirt Kasbah befor we continue Through the Road of Thousand-Kasbah passing Skoura palm grove and the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna, we will start with the deserted off-road of Ait Youl to reach Boutaghrar village its beautiful landscapes, panoramic views and mountains where colors and contrast changes every glance, nomads are living in caves and pasturing goats in the area. before we achieve Dades gorges and check into hotel.

Second day : Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast heading to Todra Gorges its an ideal place for walking and exploring in your own.lunch in the restaurant then Continuation towards Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marbles where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. we head down to Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which signify the commencement of the mighty Sahara Desert. Its here that you will start a camel trip into the middle of the dunes for an overnight camp. enjoying local food and a night of entertainment under the Saharan stars.

Third day : Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Draa valley – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to see the spectacle of the sunrise, when the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight.Arriving to the hotel to have breakfast and shower.Continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani you will stop for a while to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest one in the whole South of Morocco, set off to the beautiful Draa valley with its millions palm trees. In the evening arrive Ouarzazate and check into hotel.

Fourth day : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

After breakfast we head to Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After stop for lunch then continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas mountains.
